"Pop-up Beiz"

In the sixth semester I had to create two small projects. The first project was the «Pop-up Beiz», where the owner of the winery in Twann in the canton of Berne, Switzerland, wanted a shelter for the annual 8-week-long winetasting event, rightafter the end of the harvesting.

The linearity of the grapevines is clearly shown, the event is usually very crowded and bustling with life so I wanted an architecture that reflected this atmosphere. The architecture should be eye-catching but should also give emphasis to the event without overshadowing it. The color of the fabric and the untreated wood reflects the autumn weather. They create a harmony with the nature.
